Agreement to our terms and conditions by accessing this site you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions constitute a binding agreement between you and SSR Studio and govern your use of this site. By proceeding to pay a deposit/booking fee to SSR Studio you accept that you are entering into a contract and you agree to be bound by these conditions. This is the responsibility of the client who books to understand, agree and be responsible for all booking conditions, including all payments being made by the specified dates. All terms and conditions stated here and written in personal correspondence with the client (via Text/Email/Whatsapp) will apply, with or without a contract, unless the written contract states otherwise.
BRIDAL & NON BRIDALS
Any event in which a bride is present such as Ceremony, Reception, Engagement party, Mehendi, Civil Wedding, etc. is considered a bridal event, but brides may choose which package better suits their needs.
For phone/email consults (complimentary in the bridal package), everything is discussed in detail based on photos of styles that the brides send me, as well as current photos of the bride herself so I can offer suggestions based on needs.
A minimum of 3 adults must be booked in for either hair or makeup services. Service dates are not held under any circumstance without the non-refundable & transferable deposit which is deducted from your total invoice amount. Service quotes are valid for 1 month. The deposit is your booking retainer which service date with us first and have your trial closer to your service date, or vice versa as we want to ensure all our clients are happy with their decision.
The minimum numbers for hair & makeup need to be confirmed and final, at the time of securing your deposit. These numbers will remain the minimum and cannot be reduced. This will be the number that is payable on the final invoice. It is acceptable to add more people and/or services if it is possible for the artist to achieve or another stylist is able to be acquired.
Pricing and details are subject to change with no notice, however if a contract has already been drawn out and confirmed reflecting former pricing, the contract quote will be honored. Updated pricing would apply for new bookings only.
HAIR & MAKEUP TRIALS
Clients are required to pay the full amount for the trial at the time of appointment. Trial appointments consist of 1 x hairstyling or 1 x Makeup application only, any additional styling may incur additional charges.
Trials are not compulsory but are recommended, without a trial we will not accept responsibility if a chosen style or look does not work on service day or there are circumstances where there is a mismatch in styles, approach, or expectations, and a refund will not be offered.
Please let us know before you leave your trial, any feedback you may have. If there are any issues, anything that needs to be changed or fixed, your stylist can address this immediately to ensure 100% satisfaction on the day.
DEPOSITS
All treatment bookings made that are 1 hour in duration or over, will attract a 50% non-refundable booking fee at the time of scheduling the appointment.
In order to secure services for your date, you need to pay 50% non-refundable deposit no later than 3 days after your initial enquiry and quotation.
If no payment is received within 3 days of your enquiry and quotation, your date will be released and will be available for booking by other clients. The remaining 50% balance is to be paid no later than 7 days before your event date.
Last minute bookings (those with 7 days or less until the date of event) are payable in full up-front in order to secure the date.
PAYMENT
All payments are due based on engagement agreements. We accept ACH or credit card payments for all agreements. All credit card transactions conducted by SSR Studio are handled and transacted through third party dedicated gateways. Credit card information is not stored and all card information is handled over SSL encryption. Note: Credit Card payments are subject to a processing fee for each transaction.
ADDITIONAL WORK WITH GROUP/BRIDAL
If any additional people require styling on the day, but do not have a booking, this is not normally a problem and payment can be in cash at the time of the appointment prior to us starting the service. It is recommended to give SSR Studio notice if others in attendance want styling so arrangements can be made. SSR Studio recommends that numbers for styling are confirmed in advance to avoid potential disappointment where we may not be able to cater to extras.
SERVICE LOCATION AND REQUIREMENTS
Location of services for the event will be at the discretion of the client for makeup, however there are certain requirements SSR Studio artist will need to complete the makeup application(s). Preferably, a “set up” table/work area will need to be made available at the stated location.
EARLY APPOINTMENT PREMIUM
Early morning service bookings that require us to start prior to 7 AM surcharge may be subject to a once only fee of $100.
TRAVEL
SSR Studio requires a minimum $50.00 call out/travel fee per stylist/artist for any mobile service. A travel fee (return) may be incurred depending on distance required to travel. If in the event that any hotel, parking, and toll fees are incurred as result of the location of the booking, these will be passed on to the client. If onsite parking is not available you must notify SSR Studio immediately so other arrangements can be made.
Please be aware that parking delays caused by the client may result in the artists inability to start the service on time, finish the total service booked or get to the service at all. We recommend that onsite parking be provided to us to avoid disappointment.
This amount specified in the quotation and is determined according to the location provided at the time of enquiry. If the location of the service changes after the agreed upon quotation is given and/or deposit is paid, the SSR Studio reserves the right to adjust the travel feel if the distance is increased.
AIRFARE AND ACCOMMODATION
All costs for travel are to be paid by the client. Costs may include but are not limited to airfare, hotel (2 or 3 nights depending on destination), transportation to and from the airport in the departing and destination city, parking in the departing and destination city, per diem for meals if not all-inclusive, service incidentals, and all taxes.
TIMELINESS
Time management is of the essence therefore adherence to booking times is critical in ensuring that SSR Studio artist delivers the service you expect and will be strictly adhered to. Should unforeseen circumstances arise, the onus is on the bride/client to advise SSR Studio as soon as practical. SSR Studio is not responsible if desired completion time is not met due to client/group/wedding party delays.
If SSR Studio artist is set back due to delays caused by you or your group/wedding party, and if we are requested and required to overstay from agreed timing, (provided we are able to stay pending our other appointments), the client will be charged $40 per half hour exceeded per artist required to overstay the appointment in half hour increments only, (min. $40).
The client should arrive on time for scheduled services. You will be given a 15 minute grace period for your appointment. After, a $20 late fee will be added to your balance. If you more than are 20 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled. This policy is in place in order for us to service other clients that have booked appointments.
REFUND
SSR Studio does not offer refunds for any completed services; therefore, if you are in any way dissatisfied, the onus is on the client to notify the artist(s) whilst on location.
Should you wish to meet us ahead of time and test our work in advance of a booking for your big occasion we highly recommend that you see us for a Preview prior to booking a wedding/group appointment with us. Previews and Wedding/Group bookings are always treated as separate bookings, so Preview appointments do not secure wedding/other appointments. The onus is on the client to ensure they check availability, book in by requesting the appointment and paying the security deposit to avoid disappointment.
The security deposit is strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. We are a service-based company and are paid as such. There are no refunds of any money paid toward any bookings where there has been any partial/full cancellation made.
FORCE MAJEURE
Events outside SSR Studio’s control, which are not reasonably foreseeable, shall be considered force majeure. This means that The Makeup Team is released from her obligations to fulfill contractual agreements. Example of such events but not limited are critical injury, death, fire or flood, or natural disasters. The force majeure also includes government decisions that affect the market negatively and products, for example, restrictions, warnings, ban, etc.
CANCELLATIONS
Please confirm your numbers carefully at the time of your booking, as we don’t offer any reductions at any time for hair and makeup services. Should someone in your wedding/group booking cancel at any time they are welcome to be replaced with someone else, e.g. a guest or relative.
You will be charged the full amount of the service since the booking duration on the requested date has been specifically allocated to you which results in lost earnings/bookings for us. It is your responsibility as the client to communicate and make the other parties aware of our rates and terms of service. Cancellations without the aforementioned prior notice (30 days) will be charged the full cost of the booking. All security deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferrable. This also applies to weddings that have been cancelled due to personal relationship or personal financial problems.
Cancellation of any booking by you must be communicated in writing, by post or email and will only be confirmed upon receipt of this. The complete security deposit will be retained by us regardless of notice given due to administration and loss of other bookings caused by allocating your appointment.
GRACE & EXCEPTIONS
We understand that accidents happen, people get sick and emergencies occur. We will do our best to accommodate these rare occasions with grace. Our goal is to protect and serve our guests and our team. Thank you for understanding.
LIABILITY AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized before and after all makeup applications. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction.
We accept no liability for any claims arising out of the misuse, allergic reactions, or any injury suffered from the consenting use of the products and equipment offered by SSR Studio. By making a booking with us you acknowledge and accept this policy and release us from any liability if such a situation should arise.
Damages, theft or contamination to SSR Studio property caused by any person, (including children), require on the spot compensation of equipment plus shipping costs of that equipment. This applies to damaged or contaminated items. As children cannot compensate, their responsible adult, (or The Client), will be held responsible for on the spot compensation.
Client holds the artist harmless for any claim, loss, damage or injury to any person or property arising, either directly or indirectly, from the artist’s performance.
ALLERGIES AND HYGIENE
Unless a list of ingredients of potential reactive ingredients are presented to SSR Studio’s artist before the product application, SSR Studio is not responsible for any reactions to makeup. If you or your party are suffering from any type of contagious illness including, but not limited to, conjunctivitis, eye styes/cysts, cold sores, open wounds/cuts on the face and neck, staph infection, head lice, or a flu or other contagious illness, we need to be informed as a matter of urgency and reserve the right to refuse service of any infectious person. This is a precaution taken in order to ensure non-contamination of kits and brushes, despite the fact all items are sanitized between clients.
PUBLICATION & COPYRIGHT
It is imperative that we continue to update our portfolio and demonstrate our work to future prospective brides. All photographs taken by us are the property of SSR Studio and may be used for marketing purposes on social media or in print. Please let us know in advance by written email if you do not wish to be photographed or if you don’t want us to use your images for social media purposes.
We are happy to be photographed on your wedding day however, any photo image incorporating our team in action, or our hair and/or make-up design, on the internet or on any other advertisement, must make reference or credit us as the hair and/or makeup artists.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is taken very seriously. SSR Studio will not share personal information with third parties. SSR Studio will not divulge or discuss any details regarding your booking or your personal details with anyone not directly connected with your booking. All details collected are for the sole purpose of providing the best possible service to the Client. SSR Studio is not responsible for republished content from our site on other blogs or websites. This privacy policy is subject to change without notice.
